Why Guatemala?

Guatemala is an economically struggling country with over 56% of its population living under the National Poverty Line. And with over 44% of the children under five, classified as stunted reflecting chronic malnutrition (Global Hunger Index, 2025). Many Guatemalans struggles to feed there children leading to malnutrition and hunger. Feeding people isn’t only about satisfying one’s hunger, it’s about giving people hope, it’s about letting them know they are cared for.

Our Mission

We at Al Rahma Relief are driven by our passion to help, guided by faith, and empowered by impact. We beileve MERCY is not just our name, it is the root of all that we do. Determined to make beneficial contributions to society, we belief in the necessity of providing not only basic provisions as a human right, but also other resources, support, and guidance to help communites thrive. Giving food to those who are hungry, giving support and help to access educational and economic opportunities, giving light to those in darkness, and giving hope to those in despair.
